Fossil fuels to clean energy: Moving from a world of scarcity to a world of abundance

The fossil fuel era was built on a vision of the world through the lens of scarcity, people either had fossil fuels or they didn’t. The future must be build on abundance with clean energy depending on human ingenuity working with nature. For example, we will never run out of the sun. We will look at this transformation currently underway from a values based framework, especially in values shared by many of the worlds’ faith traditions.

We'll explore what it means to be a civic agent - and no, not someone that works for a federal agency. Civic Agency is a framework that emphasizes all people's capacity to be effective problem solvers and have agency or power to address the issues they care about.
